Holiday Ice Breakers

Through all the years, we at Disc Jockeys Unlimited have noted that people enjoy parties in very different ways.  Because we want to include everyone in the good times, we’ve come up with an assortment of activities to get everyone involved.   

  1. Holiday Trivia – Questions asked pertaining to the holiday. Winners receive holiday related novelties.

  2. Scavenger Hunt – Line up 10 chairs, get 10 volunteers, call out an item at a time, when everyone leaves to find the item, take away a chair.  The last person back will not get a chair.  We continue until we have a winner.  All items can be found in the room.

  3. Live Snowman or Christmas Tree – Two groups selected to decorate a specific person as a tree or a snowman in allotted time frame.  Fun for participants and spectators.

  4. Jingle Sing – We have a couple of lighthearted holiday songs karaoke style.(frosty, jingle bells, 12 days of Christmas etc) Each table is given the words to sing along with the music. The Winning table will have the best and most creative singers .

  5. 12 days of Christmas – 12 people are chosen to stand on the stage and each person is given a day to sing…and the fun begins…..

  6. We also fill in if needed with name that tune and movie trivia…Fun for the entire group.

Of course, we will take care of the dancers.  We’ll do the Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, Chicken Dance, Conga Line, Stroll, Shout, Locomotion, YMCA (complete with costumes) And many more dances that all ages enjoy.  Don’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with these dances…WE’LL TEACH YOU!
